Young Women Standing In Faith attends the Texas Conference for Women - Young Women's Program.
What is the Young Women’s Program? The Young Women’s Program is designed to provide junior and senior high school girls with the opportunity to attend the Conference on scholarship thanks in large part to the Conference’s financial sponsors. The program stems from the belief that young women are often discouraged from pursuing their dreams, or simply not shown the way. The future of the state lies with its young people, and it is incumbent upon us to open doors of possibility to them. Young women need to be encouraged to dream big and to work hard to make their dreams come true.
Who can participate? Any group comprised of Texas high school junior and/or senior girls and who are accompanied by at least one chaperone for every 5 to 10 students. These groups normally come from schools or outside organizations.
When is the Young Women’s Program? The Young Women’s Program takes place with the Conference, from 7:30am to 5pm. Young Women’s Program attendees get to take part in the opening keynote session, keynote luncheon, afternoon sessions and exhibit hall activities. The actual programming directly follows the opening keynote and consists of unique sessions specifically for rising high school girls.
